Twobirds stayed in touch with us throughout the entire process and our dresses arrived in plenty of time. We literally walked in the store, picked the color slate, tried on the dress, tied it a number of ways, sent pictures to the rest of our wedding party and 5 minutes later walked out of the store with our orders for all 6 maids. Literally love at first sight online, I booked an appointment and made a trip with my matron of honor to see a stylist in NYC. I got everything I imagined, and our unique Twobirds Bridesmaids dresses in slate perfected and completed my BHLDN gown and the look of our entire wedding.
I wanted curly long hair and vintage jewelry and decor. I wanted a candlelit fireplace wedding on the river with accenting colors of champagne, slate, silver, and gold.
I wanted an Ivory wedding gown with flowy bridesmaid dresses to compliment, each a little different and unique in style to fit each of my unique and gorgeous bridesmaids. I wanted to convey sentimentality and warmth, old world rustic charm, and a feeling of nostalgia at Christmas time, without using the overly Christmas-y colors. I imagined a simple but elegant winter wedding with a romantic, wistful, and vintage feel. I had a vision of how I wanted my entire wedding to look, attire, decor, everything, before I even started looking at vendors.
